Hamas has returned the bodies of four more deceased hostages to Israel, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed on Tuesday night. The Red Cross retrieved the remains and handed them over to the Israeli military, with identification work now underway. The transfer followed Israel’s warning that it would restrict aid to Gaza until all 28 deceased hostages were returned. On Monday, Hamas had released 20 living and four deceased hostages, while Israel returned the bodies of 45 Palestinians to Gaza.
