Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff Felix Koskei has affirmed the governments commitment to tame the ballooning wage bill which remains a huge threat to development. Speaking during the opening of the 3-day 3rd National Wage Bill Conference, Koskei said that taxes collected by the government will be channeled towards improving the economy and not salary increments. He has also raised concern over the Collective Bargaining Agreements signed by unions without consulting Salaries and Renumeration Commission
