Health sector workers caucus issues a 21-day strike notice

The Health Sector Caucus has issued a 21-day strike notice over what it has termed as failure by the Council of Governors to address issues affecting health workers. The health unions are accusing Governors of constantly frustrating attempts to convert Universal Health Coverage staff to permanent and pensionable terms. The unions now want all UHC staff converted by the end of September 2025 and their letters backdated to July.
