Heavy rains leave Kisumu East residents stranded and homeless

Hundreds of residents in Dago Village, Kisumu East, are tonight staring at the possibility of a long, cold night after heavy rains flooded their homes, leaving many stranded, shattered, and homeless. The devastating floods that struck on Friday night have also marooned schools, with residents afraid of outbreaks of water-borne diseases amid massive destruction of property.
