Saturday October 7th, 2023 in Israel, was a day meant for joy and celebrations – the Jewish festival of Simchat Torah. Instead, it became a day of unimaginable terror after militant group Hamas launched a coordinated and prolonged attacks from the Gaza strip. The Carnival attack left over 400 people dead and 251 more kidnapped and taken to Gaza. Maya Parizer, survived the horrifying ordeal and was recently in Kenya for the Hamas Terror Attacks commemoration and shared her story of resilience and survival.
