Hundreds of homeowners residing in Kenya Commercial Bank piece of land in Athi River, Machakos County are living in fear of being evicted for failing to promptly pay for the plots they occupy.
Surveyors have already erected beacons in the middle of their plots and their buildings have been marked for demolition. A project manager on behalf of KCB Njuguna Njoroge says the entire 1,145 prime piece of land is up for grabs in a public sale on a willing buyer, willing seller policy.
