IEBC CEO Moses Sunkuli has urged Migori youths to register as voters before the April 28 deadline. Speaking at the Migori IEBC office, he called on young people to use the remaining days to sign up and encouraged clerks to mobilize their peers. He also noted efforts with local administration to help youths collect unclaimed national IDs.
Migori Election Manager Ben Misati said 30,430 new voters have been registered so far, a 60 percent turnout. He expressed confidence the county will hit its 63,000 target, urging more youths to register ahead of the 2027 General Election.
