International Housing Solutions Kenya has broken ground on a 1.8 billion shilling rental housing development at Tatu City, targeting workers and families seeking affordable homes close to their workplaces.
The project, known as Muzi Enzi, will comprise 406 apartments, including one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, with the first tenants expected to move in in 2028.

The development is expected to create about 500 direct jobs during construction and operations.
IHS says the investment is responding to rising demand for housing at Tatu City, where the population is growing by about 40 percent annually as more businesses and workers move into the development.
