The country’s consumer prices in September grew at the slowest pace since December of 2012. According to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, inflation fell from 4.4 percent in August to 3.6 percent in September. This decline in price pressures is attributed to increased food production and the Central Bank's contractionary monetary policy.
