Interior CS Kindiki issues apology over Shakahola crimes

Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has once again apologized to the nation over the Shakahola massacre, admitting that organs of national security failed to prevent the deaths of pastor Paul Mackenzie's followers. Appearing before the ad hoc committee on the pro-liferation of religious organisations, Kindiki also revealed that Mackenzie used armed gangs to kill followers who changed their minds about fasting to death and those who took too long to die.
