The high court has sentenced Joseph Irungu alias Jowie to death after finding him guilty in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani. In her verdict, judge Nzioka argued that Jowie was not eligible for rehabilitation because he pleaded not guilty. This even as the judge delved into the report on Jowie by the probation officer describing him as a thrill seeker and one who uses anger to control others.
