JSS teachers protest over job terms as TSC appeals for patience

Junior Secondary School (JSS) teachers in different parts of the country held demonstrations calling on the government to address their employment concerns. The teachers are demanding permanent and pensionable employment terms, threatening to down their tools. However, as Francis Mtalaki reports from Mombasa, the Teachers Service Commission is calling for patience as it seeks funds to employ 44,000 teachers on permanent terms.
