Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale sues businessman Cleophas Shimanyula

Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has makes good his threat and filed a defamation suit against businessman Cleophas Shimanyula. Khalwale has accused Shimanyula of willfully and maliciously publishing false defamatory statements on the death of his worker through various mainstream and social media platforms. He said the statements were meant to depict him as an irate and hot-tempered individual and embarrassed him and his family The senator in his papers is demanding 200,000 million shillings in damages.
