Karatina residents protest rising cases of defilement

Hundreds of residents from Karatina town in Mathira sub-county on Saturday held a peaceful procession to condemn the rising cases of killings and defilement of young girls in the area. The march culminated in Rititi Village, the scene where nine-year-old Shantel Waruguru was allegedly murdered by her uncle in a brutal incident that has left the community in shock.
