Kariokor residents protest the closure of a road on a disputed piece of land

Residents of old race course estate in Kariokor, Starehe Constituency Nairobi held a peaceful demonstration on Monday against what they term an illegal takeover of a public access road which has served the community for decades. The residents are urging the government to take action against private developers for allegedly blocking the road which connects homes, schools, businesses, and a hospital.
