KEMSA streamlines its procurement processes to make sure suppliers are paid 30 days after delivery

The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) is streamlining its procurement processes to make sure suppliers are paid 30 days after delivery. Speaking during a KEMSA stakeholder conference on Monday, health CS Susan Nakhumicha said the government is working to settle all outstanding payments to allow KEMSA maintain firm and seamless partnerships with suppliers. Nakhumicha has reiterated the government's resolve to clean up the rot at KEMSA saying paying suppliers on time will greatly bring down the cost of commodities and cut out corruption avenues.
