The Kenya National Highways Authority has finally erected road bumps along the Korompoi stretch of the Namanga highway, a black spot that has claimed at least 12 lives in the past month. The move follows an outcry from residents and motorists, who blamed the authority for failing to act after a series of fatal accidents including one a fortnight ago that left eight people dead.
