Kenya is seeking to leverage the 2026 World Farmers’ Organisation Annual Meeting to unlock climate financing and secure stronger global partnerships for its farmers.Officials from the World Farmers’ Organisation and the Kenya National Farmers Federation say the meeting will be used to push for increased climate adaptation funding, fairer markets, and affordable agricultural financing. The forum is also expected to generate policy commitments on youth and women inclusion, value addition, and stronger farmer organisations, positioning Kenya as a key agricultural diplomacy hub while seeking tangible gains for smallholder farmers.
