Led by Lands CS Alice Wahome, the leaders say Leonard Muthende is best suited to take over from Public Service CS Geoffrey Ruku as he would ensure continuity with government backing. This, even as the Lmasula clan of Samburu threw their weight behind Governor Lati Lelelit, a move that opens the lid on how clan politics are likely to influence elections in the county.
