Kenya has officially begun the data collection phase of its first national study on disability-inclusive early childhood development (DIECD), aimed at improving access to essential services for children living with disabilities. The initiative, led by The Action Foundation (TAF) in partnership with government ministries, research institutions, and county governments, targets more than 1.3 million children under eight who face barriers in accessing healthcare, education, rehabilitation, and social support.
