Kenya has joined the rest of the world in marking World Neglected Tropical Diseases NTD Day, renewing calls for united action to eliminate preventable and treatable diseases that continue to affect the country’s poorest and most marginalized communities. During national commemorations held in Kajiado County, health experts and partners highlighted progress made so far and educated the public on the diseases, their symptoms, and prevention.
