Kenya submits bid for 2029 or 2031 World Athletics championships

Kenya has formally submitted her bid to host the World Athletics championships in either 2029 or 2031, with the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, Nairobi earmarked as the host venue. If successful, it would be the first time the global event is staged on african soil.
