Kenyans have been challenged to seek the services of certified and licensed engineers during the designing and construction of various projects in order to avoid cases of buildings collapsing. Speaking during separate events to commemorate World Engineering day, engineers said it is saddening to see people lose lives when buildings or bridges collapse due to the involvement of quacks masquerading as engineers. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Engineering innovation for a more resilient world”
