The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) is projecting that the Kenyan economy will expand to 4.0 per cent in 2026, up from 3.9 per cent in 2025, before edging higher to 4.1 per cent in 2027. The outlook is anchored on easing inflation in the country, stabilizing interest rates, and continued investment in renewable energy and infrastructure, which are helping to cushion the economy against global shocks. At the same time, the capital market is set to deepen even further, with NSE CEO Frank Mwiti expressing optimism over the prospects of the equity market.
