Contractors handling key road projects in Kilifi County have been directed to accelerate construction works without compromising quality, as the government intensifies efforts to unlock the region’s economic potential.
Coast Regional Commissioner Rhoda Onyancha issued the directive while leading the Regional Implementation Coordination Management Committee on an inspection tour of ongoing infrastructure projects in the county. She emphasized the need for round-the-clock operations to ensure timely delivery, particularly for roads requiring durable surfaces and effective drainage systems.
