A section of leaders from Kilifi County are calling on the National government to reject proposals to privatize public universities in the country. The leaders say this could spell doom to learners in region who have often faced limitations in accessing higher education due to a myriad of challenges. This comes amid a raging debate on ways to sustain operations in institutions of higher learning owing to lack of sufficient funding.
