Kindiki rallies Isiolo leaders to embrace unity for peace

Deputy president Kithure Kindiki has asked elders in Isiolo county to mediate the county's political class and resolve the protracted political differences which has paralysed service delivery and is threatening peaceful co-existence .addressing a delegation of 1,500 elders and grassroots leaders from Isiolo county who visited him at his Irunduni home in Tharaka Nithi county, Kindiki who has been at the forefront of advocating for harmony among leaders in the county says the infighting among the governor and the county speaker has stalled development projects in the county, including the Isiolo - Mandera highway and the Lamu - Isiolo road heading to Ethiopia due to insecurity posed by politically and ethnically instigated tension.
