Kisii DG Monda denies allegations levelled against him by MCAs

Kisii Deputy Governor Dr. Robert Monda has distanced himself from corruption allegations saying that an impeachment motion tabled before the Kisii County assembly is bound to fail. Monda who was addressing the press in Kisii for the first time since the impeachment motion was tabled, said he is the Kisii deputy governor and he won't go away anytime soon. The embattled dg also wondered why he is yet to be served with the official letter from the assembly for a response to the graft allegations, misuse of his office and going against the constitution.
