KNH acting CEO warns of maternal risks as health worker strike worsens congestion

Kenyatta national hospital acting CEO Dr. Richard Lesiyampe has decried congestion at the medical facility which he blames on the strike by health workers from Nairobi county. Dr. Lesiyampe says they’re stretched as knh as they now receive 100 expectant mothers on a daily basis compared to their capacity to handle 40 expectant mothers.
