Kenya ports authority has commenced night navigation operations of petroleum products vessels a move aimed at increasing port efficiency and overall port performance. The port authorities are hopeful that the implementation of the night navigation system will improve the turnaround time for oil tankers docking at the port by at least 12 hours, with the current time being around 3 days.
