Residents of Ilmunkush Village in Kajiado East sub-county, Kajiado County, are accusing the Kenya Power and Lighting Company of giving a blind eye to a matter they say is of great concern. They revealed they have brought to the attention of KPLC about the dangerous hanging power lines for a month now, but the relevant body has failed to listen to their cries. The locals say the damaged pole has plunged several areas into darkness and is now a safety hazard.
