In a bid to improve women standards in sports, Kwale Sports Excellence in partnership with British rower and Olympian rowan Mckellar have come up with a programme to ensure more inclusion of women in sports. Among the themes targeted in the programme is to deliver the education on sports safety, sports nutrition with a focus on indigenous foods and sports for mental health. They have at the same time called upon journalist to also give more emphasis on female sports.
