KWS receives a patrol boat to enhance security in Lake Turkana

The Kenya wildlife service has received a patrol boat that will help in enhancing security at the Central Island in Lake Turkana located in Turkana county. The Kenya wildlife service director general Erastus Kanga says three KWS officers have lost their lives in the hands of criminals in the area in the last two years. The boat was donated under the Horn of Africa Regional Environmental resilience and sustainability project.
