Leaders form North Eastern development initiative snub DP's meeting

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua’s well-intentioned efforts to bring together leaders from the arid and semi-arid regions under the North and North Eastern development initiative fell on deaf ears, as the very leaders he sought to uplift turned their backs on him.
