Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has returned to Kenya after a 43-day tour of the United States. His plane, carrying him, his wife Pastor Dorcas Gachagua, and their delegation, touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) shortly after noon on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
Hundreds of supporters gathered from as early as 6am to welcome him back, joined by Cleophas Malala, Senators John Methu, Joe Nyutu, Karungo Thangwa, and several Members of Parliament.
