LIVE: Women's perspective on #MorningCafe

#MorningCafe Women leaders give their perspective on the 'state of the nation'. They include Nominated MCA Esther Irungu, Chair Youth League, Jubilee Party Angel Mbuthia and Nellie Chepkemoi (National Youth Leader).

They discussed the ongoing submissions to the National Dialogue Committee especially the issue of reduction of constituencies by Prof Githu Muigai.

"The President promised a lot to women. He talked about having at least 12 women in Cabinet yet they are less than that, we are seeing less women as principal secretaries, we saw less women when it came to nominations of CASs and that shows you where the President's mind is."- Angel Mbuthia (Chair Youth League, Jubilee Party)

"For you to be noticed in politics, you have to volunteer a lot. I volunteered at DP Gachagua's office, he wasn't a Deputy President then, for six to seven months."- Esther Irungu (Nominated MCA)
