Food wastage continues to be one of the biggest contributors to food insecurity in Kenya, with over 30% of every farm produce estimated to go to waste. This, coupled with processed condiments in the Kenyan market, is the motivation behind Linda Korir’s Nutriblends Farm Fresh, a venture she founded to create healthier and more sustainable food options for Kenyan consumers. Edward Chweya tells us how Nutriblends makes the various condiments by working with local farmers.
