Mandera West MP Adan Hajji has launched a KSh 43 million bursary fund for the 2025/2026 financial year at Takaba, aimed at easing the financial burden on learners from vulnerable families.
The initiative targets students in colleges, TVET institutions, and universities, complementing the Mandera County Government’s bursary programme.
Speaking during the launch, Hajji said no student should be forced to drop out of school due to lack of fees. He urged beneficiaries to remain focused on their studies
The MP also laid the foundation stone for the Takaba Technical Training Institute.
