Matatu and bodaboda Associations call off nationwide strike scheduled for Monday

The leadership of bodaboda association in Nairobi and representatives of Matatu Owners Association have called off a nationwide strike scheduled Monday to raise their concerns regarding increased cases of insecurity. The two groups decided after a four hour deliberations on how to resolve disputes amicably and prevent future clashes. Led by their leader Kevin Mbadi, the duo planned industrial action, which was prompted by a surge in insecurity and recent incidents of vehicle torching by alleged bodaboda riders.
