Meru Cultural Centre has demanded the return of ancestral lands leased to white settlers in Buuri, Meru County. CEO Robert Kinyua said the leases in Timau and Kibirichia expired years ago, yet settlers continue to profit. He further urged the Kenya Land Commission to help reclaim the land and resettle displaced Meru families.
