Meteorological Department warns of heavy rains from 27th to 30th December

The weatherman has issued a warning of heavy rainfall in parts of the country from the 27th to the 29th of December, with the intensity expected to reduce on the 30th of December. Among the regions that have been put on high alert are, Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin and the Coastal region. Residents of these areas have been advised to remain vigilant due to the risk of flash floods and flooding in low-lying areas.
