Ministry of Education urged to revert to the old university funding model

Elimu Bora Working Group is demanding that the Ministry of Education reverts to the old university funding model, to enable needy students who were excluded by the new model resume their studies. The education lobby group further opposed the appointment of the 129-member national committee to review the new university funding model, calling it a mission in futility only aimed at cooling tempers instead of delivering meaningful education reforms.
