MPs Protest over exclusion of the Pokot community in government appointments.
A section of members of Parliament from the Pokot community have protested over exclusion of the Community in the Kenya Kwanza first phase of government appointments.
Speaking on Friday during a prayer day for candidates at Tartar Girls high school, the leaders expressed dissatisfaction over the recent appointments that the Pokot community has been sidelined in the new appointments.
Sigor MP Peter Lochakapong and his Kapenguria counterpart Samuel Moroto said that they supported President William Ruto during August general elections hence the community needs to benefit from the appointments.
