The latest Mbeere North by-election survey has positioned United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Leonard Muthende Muriuki as the frontrunner, commanding 40 per cent of voter support. His lead places him 7 points ahead of Democratic Party (DP) contender Newton Karish, who follows closely with 33.1 per cent. Chama Cha Kazi’s (CCK) Duncan Mbui trails far behind at 5.1 per cent, while a significant 21.5 per cent of voters remain undecided — a factor analysts say could still tilt the contest in unexpected ways.
