My son died running from 'kanjo', now they want Sh200,000 to give me his skeleton

A Murang'a family says their son, Antony Ngugi, a hawker, died after being hit by a car while running Nairobi City County askaris earlier this year.

To add salt to injury, his father George Nyaga says, the County wants the family to part with Sh200,000 to release the body for burial.

The family says he went missing in January, only to find out months later that he was a victim of a road accident from a notice published in the Daily Nation.
