Nanak building evictions : Tenants allege plans to evict them unlawfully

A section of business operators who are tenants at the Nanak house in Nairobi’s Central Business District are living in fear of their property being auctioned due to rent arrears. They are now claiming the new landlord is colluding with some people to have the property auctioned to force them to vacate the premises. The business operators now want the landlord to follow the stay order of the court until the case is determined. Doing business the tenants say has become difficult as the land lord has barricaded the entrance of the building.
