NANYUKI WATER SHORTAGES TO END AFTER SH48M MT KENYA INTAKE PROJECT COMPLETION

Water rationing in Nanyuki Town and its surrounding areas is expected to end following the completion of a new water intake project in the Mt Kenya forest. The Sh48 million project, implemented by Nanyuki Water and Sewerage Company (NAWASCO), has increased daily water supply by six million litres, helping close a previous supply deficit of about four million litres.
