The National Heroes Council has approved 180 individuals out of 400 who applied for recognition as National Heroes and Heroines. The council, at the same time, has called on the members of the public to give their views on the proposed nominees to be honoured during this year’s Mashujaa Day national celebrations on October 20, 2025, in Kitui County.
