The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has called for the prosecution of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over alleged hate speech. As tensions rise ahead of Wednesday’s Gen Z-led protests, the commission is also investigating 26 politicians for incitement and urging calm. NCIC has further called on police to uphold human rights during the demonstrations.
