National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has suspended Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro from the House for five sitting days.
The suspension will remain in effect until the legislator withdraws and apologises over claims of impropriety in the Kenya Pipeline privatisation process.
Nyoro had told Parliament that President William Ruto allegedly made phone calls to chief executive officers of the National Social Security Fund, NSSF, Kenya Re and other government entities to invest in Kenya Pipeline.
The lawmaker maintained that such investments involving pension funds should not be made through political phone calls.
